Instagram Direct
Instagram DM requires a Professional (Business or Creator) account linked to a Facebook Page. Personal accounts are not supported.
Open Leads Inbox → Instagram → Connection Setup.
Confirm the Instagram account is linked to the Facebook Page.
Connect with the Facebook user that admins the Page.
Grant message management permission and save.
